The Kawasaki XC-2(C-X) has finally made its maiden flight Tuesday at the JASDF base in Kakamigahara.

It was redesignated as XP-1 and had a first flight couple of years ago.

IIRC, part of the delay to the C-X program was because resources were shifted to get the P-X program back on track.
